“I excitedly and happily endorse the Explore program founded by Audrey Chiu. The goal of the Explore program is to give opportunities to fourth through sixth grade students to study a variety of space related topics more in depth than they might encounter in the regular classroom. Audrey and her teaching partner, Trisha, incite curiosity and encourage kids to ask questions about space.
Our students were offered enrichment classes that studied constellations, aliens and the twin paradox. The participating students thoroughly enjoyed their experiences in these classes.
Through a series of fun and engaging activities and lessons our students were able to delve deeper in STEAM related topics in the Explore after school enrichment program taught by Audrey and Trisha. In the past years, Explore offered 3D printing and coding classes with Audrey leading the sessions and inspiring their curiosity and creativity. Our participating students were able to develop and expand their knowledge in these specialty areas, diving deeper into the world of STEM through the variety of engaging and unique activities she organized.

As part of the Explore program, Isha served as 3D printing instructor for our 4th to 6th graders, introducing them to the software and guiding them through printing their own designs
She did this with enthusiasm, patiently working 1-on-1 with students to solve their design issues. She demonstrated care and empathy, especially with special day camp students, helping them stay calm while developing interesting prints.
